Matthew recently made his debut performance with the Philharmonia conducting Beethoven's Third Symphony in the Barbican, London.

After a successful debut in Dublin, Matthew will return to the RTE National Orchestra of Ireland in July.

Matthew returned to his native Australia in October 2009 where he conducted the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra and The Queensland Symphony Orchestra.

Matthew's contract with the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra has been extended for a further year. This highly successful relationship will be showcased in performances of Shostakovich's Fifth Symphony as part of the BSO's 09/10 season.

Matthew will return to Winchester Cathedral with the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra performing Tchaikovsky's Sixth Symphony in June.

Matthew is thrilled to team up again with the brilliant Claire Rutter and Stephen Gadd for more festive fireworks this summer with the BSO.

Matthew will return to Cadaques in Spain, after being a finalist at the Cadaques Conducting Competition in 2007.

Matthew will showcase the brilliance of Gershwin with the BSO this June.
